Bright is might – Part 3 – Down a long Country Road

If you’ve read my blog more than once, you’ll know that I really like printed trousers. More than that, I am completely and utterly OBSESSED with printed trousers. Give me a few decades and I’ll be putting my (by then) extensive collection to a museum somewhere.

When I first saw these scarf-print trousers from the new Spring/Summer Country Road collection in the store window, I knew I had to have them. But, as with most things I love and have to have, I spent weeks agonising on the idea of never owning them. Luckily a spend-and-save and a very kind Mother mean that I finally had them in my hot little hands last week.

They turn quite a few heads – I think most people think I woke up and forgot to change out out my pyjama pants. But hey, they aren’t good unless a few people stare.

I SHALL BASK IN MY PYJAMA PANT GLORY.

Brightly-coloured trousers are my kryptonite…

This has been true, if not since the beginning of time, then perhaps very close.

The other day I was lucky enough to be treated to a pair of lovely floral trousers! I wore them on Tuesday, despite the terrible cold and wind and rain…. I sneakily wore a pair of footless tights underneath to keep toasty warm.

Et Voila! C’est superb n’est-ce pas?
